Joe is a 4th year Ph.D. clinical psychology student at Palo Alto University in the Interpersonal Relations and Methods lab. He received his Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Irvine where he conducted research in the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. His current research interests include utilizing cluster analysis, statistical learning, and Bayesian inference to assess maladaptive stress responses and homelessness risk factors in military service members and veterans. Joe also works with Drs. Lisa Brown and Matthew Yalch conducting secondary data analysis utilizing the Army Study to Assess Risk and Resilience in Servicemembers (STARRS). Other interests are program evaluation and uses of technology in behavioral health.
