Nicole Strauss

Nicole is a 4th year Clinical Psychology PhD student at PAU, with a clinical interest in holistic treatments for serious mental illness and trauma. Currently, she is at practicum with ANKA Behavioral Health Inc. at Nevin House, a residential facility for adults with dual diagnoses of substance use issues and severe mental illness, where she provides individual, group and milieu therapy. Nicole’s research interests involve social connection and the interpersonal factors at play in zero-acquaintance encounters (first-time meetings), such as romantic attachment and personality traits.
